The document information shown by the Asset Management Module on the Linked Documents page is listed in one or more sections.

The first section is Related Documents. This section shows the documents that are directly related to the asset that is selected in the maintenance management system. This section shows documents that use property linking.

The subsequent sections comprise documents that are indirectly related using tag linking. These documents are referenced to tag objects that reside in the Meridian Enterprise vault. These objects are used to represent the assets that reside in the maintenance management system.

The configuration of property linking and tag linking is done in Meridian Enterprise by a system administrator. Tag objects are explicitly linked to documents by Meridian Enterprise users as described in Linking objects to a document.
